    Barry Owes Large, a title formed around a certain string technique, focuses its energy on the tension between fast-paced fiddling and constant motion between the four strings of a violin. There’s a beautiful art to balancing multiple melodic lines and directions in the world of solo performance, with this particular work bringing that element in combination with a moto-perpetuo feel and energy. Barry, even with his fine fiddle skills, will soon be paid a visit to settle his outstanding debt.​
